Are you curious about the internal installation of luxurious golden sparkling world-class gambling establishment?


I experienced the world known Walker Hill (Casino) on my first project to work in South Korea. Due to the Gambling house policies, no way to bring in any photographic and/or recording equipment, fully strictly prohibited, period. Coordinated only then to obtain the official photographic permits one month before my arrival, with the help of Korean National Tourism Organization (KNTO), Seoul, South Korea.

In turned out our photography sessions received obstructs. Those national tourism officers who accompanied me entire shooting would have to spend hours to reason, to make phone calls around before the shooting finally had gotten started. According to the KNTO saying was because the on-duty supervisor that day who refused to break the implement rules of Walker Hill tradition. When the bigshot had given us an OK, hours behind our schedule. Our leading officer from the KNTO said "Don, you will be the first person who not only to carry in the photo gear and shoot for publication medias inside the Walker Hill, moreover, as a foreigner."


P. S. In the meantime, I photographed the Walker Hill Sheraton Hotel's presidential suite which was prepared for the US "King of the Pop" singer Michael Jackson as well.

第一次到韓國工作時 就見識到鼎鼎大名的華克山莊（賭場） 因為賭場政策 嚴禁任何攝影器材攜入 早在一個月前就透過韓國觀光公社的協調下 才取得正式的拍照許可 誰知道當天的拍攝過程受到阻撓 幾位全程陪同我拍攝的官員們費盡了一番唇舌和數通電話才開工 據觀光公社的官員說 是因為華克山莊向來貫徹禁止攝錄影的鐵則 當班的管理人不放行 韓國觀光公社帶頭的官員告訴我說 “Don 你將會是第一個破天荒 在華克山莊賭場大搖大擺地進行媒體出版攝影的人 而且還是個外國人”



P.S. 同時 我還拍了華克山莊喜來登飯店 為美國流行天王歌手麥可傑克森所準備的總統套房喔
